RFR and commercial redress land
Right of first refusal (RFR) provisions give settlement trustees specified rights when defined Crown/public land is proposed for disposal during the RFR period. The precise land, period and exceptions come from the deed/legislation.
RFR area is not ownership
An RFR polygon/parcel does not mean the settlement group owns that land. It represents a future disposal right/obligation under the settlement terms.
Commercial redress property
A deed can identify properties for transfer or deferred selection. After transfer, current title/cadastre becomes important for present land ownership geometry.
Crown forest licensed land
Crown forest licensed land has its own settlement/rental context. CFRT holds rental proceeds until beneficial ownership is resolved and provides research/mapping support to eligible claimants.

A 2008 RFR map can still describe legal rights, but current Crown ownership/disposal status may have changed. Check current land records when the present state matters.
